Carpentry

Lucent Construction is a full service provider of carpentry, from building decks and porches, to interior finish carpentry.We provide  structural work, wall removal, beam installation, and sill repair. Kitchens and bathrooms are a specialty of ours, check out our gallery for examples of past projects.

Windows and doors

We install Andersen, Pella, Marvin, Harvey, Thera-Tru, and other brand windows and doors. By using high quality materials like PVC trim, spray foam insulation, and butyl membrane, we can insure that your new windows and doors keep your house comfortable through everything season.  

Additions

Whether it be a new second floor, a shed dormer, or a ground up addition, we do those too! We work with local engineers and architects to help realize your dream living space. 

Project management

Unlike other firms, who will hire out every task and only show up once a week, we are on the job daily, supervising and participating in every aspect of the project. By keeping key tasks in house, and through expert scheduling, we keep the job moving until completion.

Provided you own the property, we will come to you to review the proposed project, make recommendations, provide an estimate, and suggest any ways to save on costs. 

Employees and subcontractors

We only work with a small, but trusted network of subcontractors, all experts in their fields. Its ok to admit when you need a hand, so we know who to call to facilitate the project moving forward. 

Licensed and insured

Lucent Construction is a fully licensed and insured contractor, registered with the State of Massachusetts Home Improvement Contractor Registration program.

We are constantly studying up on the newest products, methods, and materials to provide your home with the best options for your budget. Whether it be studying The Journal of Light Construction, attending trade shows, or brushing up on continuing education courses, we feel that learning is a life-long journey.
